Have A Merry Real-You Christmas!

Hey friends, it’s been a while!

I wanted to encourage you today to let go of all of the pressures we’ve been accumulating this season.

The pressure put on you by society to have a certain kind of Christmas.

The pressure put on you by social media to have a certain kind of visually amazing Christmas. Or to have certain gifts. Or go certain places. Or have a perfect house with amazing hair and makeup and perfect angel children that never whine or complain during this season.

Or how about this one – the pressures we’ve been putting on ourselves to measure up to some standard of what we are “supposed” to be this season.

Just let it all go friends. Kick it to the curb and embrace your messy, imperfectly perfect Christmas.

Cause Jesus didn’t have a Instagram-worthy first Christmas. But you know what He did have? Family. Love. Giving. Selflessness. Hope. Joy.

And we can have all of those things too.

Have yourself a merry real-you Christmas, and I’ll hope to see you in the new year!

Hugs to all ❤🎄
